Register Interest - Candidate Briefing Sessions 2024 Local Government Election

This briefing is designed to provide those interested in being a candidate with the information they will need to make a considered decision.

The Session will be facilitated by Jenny Dowell OAM who has served more than 12 years on Lismore City Council, including eight years as the city’s Mayor. During that time Jenny was also president of Northern Rivers Regional Organisation of Councils (NOROC) for four years and sat on various national committees, including the infrastructure taskforce and the high-speed rail advisory group.

Since retiring in 2016, Jenny has become a mayoral mentor with Local Government NSW, assisting mayors around the State with their challenging roles.
