Help us decorate Ellendon Street this winter!
QPRC Place and Community Teams will be giving the trees along Ellendon Street a vibrant winter makeover this June with a yarnbombing project. The aim is to provide some colour and vibrancy in the winter months.
The trees along the street will be decorated in time for International Knitting Day on June 14, we will be re-using yarn creations kindly donated by the Queanbeyan community from previous QPRC projects.
We are inviting the Bungendore community to help create extra yarn decorations! Think Pom Poms, knitted baubles and bunting!
How to get involved
For Community Members
There will be a free DIY ‘Pom Pom station’ to make and donate your creations at Bungendore Library from Monday 12 May to Thursday 12 June. You can also donate yarn to the Library for others to use.
